From France to The Forest of Dean

On September 23rd 2015, Richard White, a former photo correspondent, artist and picture framer returned to the UK after managing 'Studio Hirondelle', an art gallery, photographic workshops, wedding photography and picture framing services in South West France. Originally from Stratford upon Avon in Warwickshire, Richard and his wife Clare ran a highly successful bespoke picture framing service. After four years of trips, between the two countries, they settled in Longhope on the edge of the Forest of Dean where they have launched photographic and painting classes along with bespoke picture framing and restoration services.

"This area of Gloucestershire with the Forest of Dean is a sheer delight" says Richard. "The ancient forest and its outlying areas between the rivers Severn and Wye are simply stunning and a never-ending source of wonderful scenery for everyone. I really wish to use this rich source of subject matter as well as my enthusiasm and experience to help photographers and artists achieve great results".
