Raeburn Portrait?

A customer related to the 'Jameson' Irish distillery family has entrusted Art-iFrame to manufacture an oval frame for a painting possibly by Scottish artist Sir Henry Raeburn at the turn of the 19th Century. It is claimed the portrait of a lady with her child is possibly Elizabeth Haig of Scottish Whisky fame, who later married John Jameson before moving to Ireland in the mid 19th century. The painting is very reminiscent of Raeburn's style although sadly, it is not signed. The oval frame cut from specially manufactured 20mm hardened MDF was routed out using an oval jig imported from the USA and finished off using stains waxes and guilt creams.
